My photography experience began as a child, shooting 35mm print and slide film. Early on, I was said to have had an "eye for photography". Throughout my life I have carried my passion (and a camera) with me, making photographs on my travels and in my daily life.
In 2001, I began shooting digital and started to develop my passion into profession in this "new era" of photography. I have been a resident of Western Washington for over 15 years, 6 of which have been in Gig Harbor. Many of my fine art scenery photographs are featured in one of Gig Harbor's most prestigious art galleries and I have built a solid relationship with many of our area's photography professionals.
As a professional photographer, I place a great deal of emphasis on providing attention to detail as well as respecting your desires when providing photographic services.
I shoot with the same high quality Canon digital photography equipment as the big time professionals, however, I do not charge the big time prices!

Founder and Administrator - Northwest Photographers.
  In February of 2004, I started an online photography organization now known as Northwest Photographers (NWP). Originally called Puget Sound Area Photographers, it grew quicky and membership expanded to the entire Pacific Northwest region. Featured Photographer - Cornell Lab of Orinthology
  In 2006, I was selected by the Cornell Labs of Orinthology as the "featured Photographer" on their website. Cornell Lab of Orinthology is world renowned for it's avain studies and related programs and I was honored to be featured by them for my avian photography efforts.
